Create A Favicon From A Photo

Ever wanted to create those little icons in the address bar of your browser such that when someone browses or book marks your site, your logo appears?
That little icon is called a “favicon”. FavIcon from Pics is an online application that does the hard work for you and it’s simple to use.
Just enter your source image and click the “Generate favicon”.
Once your icon is generated.
- Click “Download FavIcon” and open the package. favicon.ico is included in it.
- Upload the favicon.ico file to the folder on your web site where you have the web page.
- Add the following HTML tag to your web page after the <head> tag, before the </head> tag:
<link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”favicon.ico” >
